My favorite Low Calorie breakfast ideas

My Top 3 Breakfast ideas when on a low calorie diet. 

All of these recipes I am going to share are under 400 calories and are low sodium as well. Gotta protect your heart while your young!


Scrambled Egg Veggie Bake

Per serving (vary based on customizations) 
Calories: 180

Fats: 11g
Protein: 11g
Carbs: 6g
Sugar: 2g

Mix together enough eggs to fill the pan you plan to bake in. Add veggies of your choice to the mix and season with salt, pepper, and any other seasonings you like. Add cheese if desired and any other goodies. Bake until cooked through (stab with toothpick and if it comes out dry you're good!) 



Egg Muffin Cups

Per Serving (vary based on customization) 
Calories: 81

Fats: 3.7g
Protein: 6g
Carbs: 6.1g
Sugar: 2.9g

Follow the same recipe as above, however add two eggs (or just egg whites) to a greased muffin tin, sprinkle in veggies and seasonings of choice and cook the same way. Just like that you have the cutest little breakfast bites. They can be frozen and used as meal prep as well. 


Baked Oatmeal with Blueberries

Per serving (vary based on customization)
Calories: 175

Fats: 3g
Protein: 6g
Carbs: 32g
Sugar: 13g

Layer blueberries in a greased pie tin with oatmeal (if your looking to up the protein in this meal this would be a good one to add a scoop of protein powder in). Pour any type of milk over and bake until oatmeal has absorbed the milk and is a cake like firmness. Can be served with syrup or milk.
